Jason Blonde was quickest with Wilshe's winged sprinter, clocking 13.245 seconds (144.871).
Second fast for the day with a winged supermodified was Mike Lichty (13.267, 144.634)
During his first attempt, Blonde clipped the frontstretch wall. Repairs were completed just in time as the one hour event was drawing to a close.
