Palm Beach "go-cart"

When Billy Yuma first came to Shangri-La back in 1963, he carried the letter X on the side of his car, and it had a Chevy crossfire powerplant. The #79 was also on the one and only modified he owned, which was destroyed in a fire on the backstretch in 1965. He was the first driver to fill the seat of the Glen Scott S/360, in it's turquoise and red incarnation. When Yuma left that ride later in the season, Don Diffendorf got the ride for the next 3&1/2 years. (written by Mike Monnat)
